Gothic Geisha 2000

This dress was another second hand store makeover. It had a full skirt attached to a simple, sleeveless bodice zipped up the back. A large black satin bow adorned the hip. The skirt when removed and reshaped had plenty of fabric in it for the bottom flounce, gloves and peplum. Sheer black net dotted with black sequins forms the train. Running black sequin trim finished the bodice. This one really took on a life of it's own while I sewed and watched reruns of classic black and white films by the fire on cold winter nights!
